Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory of playing rehearsals with her mom. Silk was featured in many commercials as just a child. In 1997, she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is well-known for her tv role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from for the Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen on the television show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode and broke the news to viewers of the show in an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show would return to its production. Fourth season began on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in a large online audience on social media.
